Saia was around 13 years old when the Psion Diplomats (PD) were formed to accommodate for the Psions' introduction to space. Before that he was receiving a normal education, though after the formation of the PD his life was turned around to prime himself for life in space. He was among the first young Psions to participate in alien cultural exchanges and assimilation programs, though in his formative years he was always still in contact with other Psions.
In his 20s, Saia drifted away from other Psions as he began working for companies based in space. He worked for various companies mainly based around transportation, and the last job he had before joining the Solaris Sanctuary was a higher management role. When joining the Sanctuary he was originally just an employee but was later promoted to be one of a few administrator assistants. Recently, he was promoted to be the technical administrator of the Sanctuary's Orion after the previous admin had been demoted. This is the biggest role Saia has undertaken thus far.
